Throughout his career DJ Skip Rip has performed at shows with well known artists including Talib Kweli, Slum Village, The Pharcyde, Method Man and Redman, Dilated People, Termanology, The Flobots, Slick Rick, Zion I,
AK 1200, Dj Swamp, Mike Relm, Mad Professor, KRS One in addition to a multitude of others.

Dj Skip Rip, also known as Breaker One9,
has been mixing it up with some of the top dancers in the field since early on. Dynamic flow and signature moves make him a standout dancer that gained attention from members of the Rock Steady Crew and led to touring with the late Gee One, senior member/mentor of America's Best Dance Crew champions, the Jabbawockeez.
Shortly after Gee's passing Breaker One9's work began with the nations foremost mental health advocacy organizations through the Check Your Head Program. The program incorporates activities, creative outlets and promotes discussion of mental wellness topics. The art form of Hip Hop, being the cultural phenomenon that it is, has demonstrated the ability to overcome a multitude of barriers and unite people across the globe.
It is in this manner that Breaker One9 has been able to bridge the seemingly unconnected fields of mental wellness and Hip Hop. His work with Mental Health America and other community partners has provided knowledge, coping skills and resources for scores of young people through these powerful mediums.
